The postmodern reading group

The Postmodern Reading Group brings together graduate students and faculty to discuss primary and secondary readings of the postmodern period (1960s-present). The group provides an informal forum for scholars interested in postmodern writing and postmodern theory. It is focused on American literary and cultural postmodern traditions, although it does not neglect non-Western postmodernisms (e.g. the Second and the Third World) and maintains a close relationship with the Department of Comparative Literature. The group is affiliated with the Center for American Literary Studies, and meets twice a month. For more information about the group, or how to be added to the list-serve, contact the coordinator Damjana Mraovic-O'Hare: dxm388@psu.edu
